The Cambridge Meridian Golf Course

Ryder Cup players, Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, have transformed this intriguing piece of land into one of the most beautiful golf courses in the country – a mixture of classic links and modern championship course.

Lake view of Meridian clubhouseThe club is named after the Greenwich Meridian Line which runs through the course. Only eleven courses in the world span the Meridian Line - ten in England and one in France.

Measuring over 6,700 yards from the members’ tees, Cambridge Meridian is both spectacular and inviting, offering a golfing layout to challenge the aspirations of a champion while being pleasantly playable for all.

The 210 acre site exudes peace and tranquility, so much so that visitors easily forget that the hustle and bustle of the city of Cambridge is a mere 5 miles away. With water hazards on all but five of the holes and large, undulating greens built to USGA championship course standards, you need both a fearless approach and a steady head.

Practice facilities

There are excellent practice facilities with a large practice ground, long enough and wide enough for the biggest of hitters. Use and collect your own golf balls. There is a short game practice area for pitching, chipping and bunker play as well as two practice nets donated by Marshall Aerospace Golf Society – valued corporate members.

A particular feature of the club is the huge practice green with a speed and condition that matches the greens on the course.
